    Superb

Well-run, good breakfast included with the room.

It was somewhat difficult to find because there is no sign out front, only small flags with the hotel name hanging by the front entrance.

    Superb

There is really nice breakfast buffet, also very early if you need to wake up at 4:30 for your early flight. Hotel offers the transport to all the excursions and to the airport.

The hotel is quite faraway from the city centre (around 20 minutes walking distance).

    Fabulous

    Good breakfast spread, free parking.

No free wifi (quite expensive actually) - better off going to the library or a cafe and using theirs.

    Fabulous

Breakfast was huge! I also find olive oil!!!

The guy at the reception was very polite but a bit overconfident. He seemed to me a little fake.

    Good

Very nice staff. Rate is attractive.

A bit far away from city center. And the cheapest rooms are without window. However I am most of the time doing day trips, it doesn't bother me too much.

    Very good

Nice rooms, plus they serve normal early breakfast starting from 4 a.m. for those who are leaving early. Very helpful hotel staff.

Location is not that good - around 2.5 km walking from the city center. No free wi-fi.

    Superb

Very close to amazing thermal swimming pool where attending swimming holiday. Breakfast included in price. Worth booking top floor superior room for more space, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & free wi- fi. Great shower. 30 min walk along beautiful coast path to city centre (but buses also available outside hotel). Good hotel bar. Reykyavik Express bus from airport will drop you off at hotel door (taxis very expensive). Hotel very helpful in booking tours & general advice on city amenities & transport. Nice hotel shop for last minute gifts (remember to get form to reclaim 25% vat at airport). Hotel very busy, including bar, but always quiet in room.

Curtains in room did not close fully & daylight until midnight & from 4am so take eye mask if light affects sleeping. Number of towels received & refilling of tea/milk a bit random but hotel staff happy to provide supplies, including extra coathangers, whenever asked.

    Exceptional

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The views from our window were great. The included breakfast was excellent. Although there was little variety, the evening salad bar provided an acceptable meal which was good value.

-Buffet breakfast was ok, did it's job to fill us up even past lunch. And it opens early at 4am for those with early flights. Bread there is fresh and lovely. I'd skip the buffet dinner though at 1495 kronas per person. - Bathroom was clean and shower was nice and hot with good rainhead pressure. - Buses into downtown stop just outside, very handy but don't run very often on weekends. So you'll have to fork out for a taxi (1500 krona one way) or walk 20mins. - Staff are very helpful, not overly exciting people but will call up places/do bookings for you. - Lots of brochures available at desk. - free parking - i recommend you hiring a car if you stay at this hotel!! - Petrol station/subway/cafe across the road, very handy.

    - Rooms are not soundproofed. With people flying in/out at early/late times, you will hear everything, suitcases rolling, doors slamming, toilets flushing. Just hope you're not in the midst of a school tour group - Lots of school excurisions/backpackers stay here. Can be noisy. - Distance is very far from Downtown or Kringlan shopping mall. 20mins walk in the cold to get anywhere, limited buses and taxi will cost 1500 krona. I recommend you stay Downtown to be close to restaurants/shops etc. - daily room cleaning is questionable.. yes we get new bath towels etc.. but they don't vacuum the room or change sheets. They just make your bed daily. - Rooms are VERY small.. and only offer single or twin beds. So if you're intersted in a romantic weekend away, go somewhere else. - TV is old school and only 1 english channel.

    Superb

The hotel was very clean and nice inside, definately a four star worthy hotel. The breakfast was amazing, a huge buffet which is replenished alot and included cold meats, breads, cereals etc. The room was very modern and quite big, we had a deluxe twin room. The hotel is easy to find and is near to the coast and also to Kringlan shopping centre. There is a petrol station and Subway relatively close by. It is a very short few minute drive to the Hallgrimskirkja. I would definitely stay again if I am in Reykjavik and the price is very good for the quality you receive!

The reception staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful, I found them quite unapproachable.

    Good

Decent breakfast. Comfortable lobby. Near bus stop.

The room was smaller than a jail cell. The twin beds (if they were twin beds) were on unfinished wood platforms. The distance between the beds was perhaps 3 feet. There was no place for luggage except the floor. No shampoo. The window sill juttied out, making propping oneself up to read or watch tv impossible. The wifi charge was exhorbitant. Was our room the Booked.net room?

    Good

Let me change my booking with no fee and let me check out almost an hour late with no fee

Rooms was extremely small, had a funny smell. Room's only window was facing a main balcony so had no privacy whatsoever

Good location and clean, friendly staff.

Paying extra for WiFi is unacceptable, even hostels have free WiFi now. Bed was uncomfortable.

Close to the city, great view of the bay, in fact an amazing view.

The shelf over the sink made it impossible to shave or wash my face without either splashing water all over the floor or hitting my head when moving near to the sink, as you would normally do. A terrible sink layout.
